Welcome to AcuBarLA. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services, products, and website. By accessing our website, purchasing our products, or using our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms and Conditions, please do not use our services or purchase our products.

 
1. Services


1.1 Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine

 

  • Our clinic provides a range of services designed to promote health, wellness, and beauty, including but not limited to acupuncture, oriental medicine, bodywork, beauty treatments, and other holistic therapies. These services are provided by licensed and experienced professionals.

  • The outcomes of treatments, whether they involve acupuncture, oriental medicine, bodywork, beauty work, or other therapies, may vary from person to person, and results are not guaranteed.

  • You acknowledge that these services are complementary therapies and should not replace conventional medical treatment provided by a licensed healthcare provider. It is recommended that you consult with your primary healthcare provider before beginning any new health or wellness regimen.

1.2 Teas, Tinctures, and Herbal Products

  • We offer a variety of teas, tinctures, and herbal products formulated using natural and alternative principles of wellness.

  • All products are intended for general wellness and are not meant to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Always consult with your healthcare provider before starting any new herbal or dietary supplement, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, or have any pre-existing health conditions.

  • Statements made in brochures, marketing materials, on the website, and in product descriptions for items sold in our online store have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). These products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

 

1.3 Wellness Devices

 

  • We may provide or recommend the use of wellness devices (such as cupping sets, moxibustion tools, etc.) as part of our holistic approach to health.

  • Use these devices only as instructed. Improper use can result in injury or harm. It is your responsibility to follow all provided instructions and guidelines.

  • We adhere to health and safety protocols provided by the manufacturers of these devices, as well as internal guidelines that ensure the safety and well-being of our clients.

  • When it comes to Self-Care devices:

    • The choice to use these devices is ultimately yours, the patient.

    • We strongly recommend consulting with your physician if you believe these devices may pose a risk to your health, as we cannot make that determination.

  • All devices must be set up, initiated, and terminated by our staff.

  • Any damage resulting from misuse or improper handling will be the responsibility of the client.


2. Appointments and Cancellations
 

2.1 Scheduling

  • Appointments can be made through our website, over the phone, or in person. You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information when scheduling.

2.2 Cancellations and No-Shows
 

  • We have limited availability of treatment hours and cannot fill late cancellation blocks. Late cancellations, no-shows, or appointments canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled time will be charged the full service fee.

  • Cancellations or rescheduling must be done at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee.

 

2.3 Late Arrivals
 

  • Depending on the exact nature of your care and scheduling limitations of our providers, if you are more than 10 minutes late to your appointment, we may recommend that you reschedule your appointment in order to better serve your needs.

  • If you arrive late for your appointment and choose to proceed, your session may be shortened to accommodate the next client. The full session fee will still apply.


3. Payment and Fees
 

3.1 Payment Terms
 

  • Payment is due at the time of booking. Full payment must be made at least 48 hours prior to the appointment to guarantee the . We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and other payment methods as indicated on our website. 
     

3.2 Refunds
 

  • Services: Refunds for services rendered are not provided.

  • Products: Unopened products in their original condition may be returned within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. Opened or used products cannot be returned unless they are defective.

  • Wellness Devices: Devices may be returned within 14 days if unused and in original packaging for a full refund. Opened or used devices no longer in their original wrapped condition will incur a 15% restocking fee.

 

3.3 Insurance

 

  • We bill insurance directly; however, we cannot submit claims on your behalf.

  • You are responsible for full payment at the time of service. A receipt will be provided upon request, which you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.

 

4. Health and Safety


4.1 Personal Responsibility

 

  • You are responsible for informing your practitioner of any medical conditions, allergies, or other relevant health information prior to receiving services.

  • You are also responsible for informing your practitioner if there are any changes to any medical conditions, medications or any condition that may affect the outcome of our treatments or utilization of the devices.

 
4.2 COVID-19 and Other Infectious Diseases

 

  • We follow strict health and safety protocols to protect our clients and staff. If you are feeling unwell or have been exposed to an infectious disease, please reschedule your appointment.

 

5. Privacy and Confidentiality


5.1 Personal Information

 

  • We collect personal information to provide services, process transactions, and improve our offerings. Your information is kept confidential and secure in accordance with our Privacy Policy.


5.2 Medical Records

 

  • Medical records are confidential and will only be shared with your written consent or as required by law.

  • If a product offered in our online store does not match the description, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition.

  • All prices are listed in US Dollars and are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to modify prices or discontinue products at any time without prior notice.

 

  • In the event of a pricing error, we reserve the right to cancel any orders placed for the product at the incorrect price.


7.3 Orders and Payment

 

  • By placing an order through our online store, you agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion.

  • Payment must be received in full before products are shipped. We accept the payment methods listed on our website.

 

7.4 Shipping and Delivery

 

  • We ship products to the locations specified on our website. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times will be provided at checkout.

 

  • We are not responsible for delays in shipping due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, shipping carrier delays, or customs inspections.


7.5 Returns and Exchanges

 

  • Unopened products in their original condition may be returned within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, excluding shipping costs. Opened or used products cannot be returned unless they are defective.

7.6 Risk of Loss

 

  • All items purchased from our online store are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.

  • The health and safety of our staff, as well as our clients, is our top priority. You are required to adhere to all health and safety protocols as directed by our staff while in the office.

  • If you have any symptoms of illness (including but not limited to fever, cough, or shortness of breath), please reschedule your appointment. We reserve the right to deny service to anyone exhibiting symptoms of illness to protect the well-being of others.


8.3 Personal Belongings

 

  • Please keep all personal belongings with you at all times. We are not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items while you are in our office.


8.4 Children and Minors

 

  • Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times while in our office. The parent or legal guardian is responsible for the conduct and safety of the child.


8.5 Confidentiality

 

  • We are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of all patient information. However, please be mindful of your own privacy and the privacy of others when discussing personal information in public areas of the office.


8.6 Liability

 

  • While we take all reasonable precautions to ensure your safety during your visit, you assume all risks associated with your presence in our office. We are not liable for any injuries or damages that occur on our premises, except as a result of gross negligence or intentional misconduct on our part.
